Infidelity does not only occur in married couples, but is also often experienced in dating relationships. Usually, if your partner is having an affair, there will be a change in attitude and behavior. Starting from often busying yourself with your cell phone, often getting annoyed or angry for no reason, to often lying.
In this case, I think there are various reasons why people cheat in relationships. Cheating can occur due to a lack of emotional attachment to your partner, not being able to set social boundaries with other people, or because of arguments with your partner. Not only that, other reasons can also come from childhood trauma to sexual addiction.
So why do you think people cheat? Are you the perpetrator of cheating or are you the victim of cheating ?

Thankfully I am neither a perpetrator or a victim. Cheating has existed ever since humankind existed. Though nothing justifies infidelity, we can't ignore the fact that it exists. I would say that it's the lack of communication or not having the attitude to respect the sanctity and boundary of a relationship that one goes for cheating.
