Feeling hungry...

It's 10:18 AM and it's my first break at work. I have another session from 11-11:45 and that is all for work at school today. My stomach is grumbling and I am feeling really hungry. I had a crazy rush in the morning. I overslept and that put everything off track. In all the rush, I could only make egg curry for lunch. And washed and soaked the rice. My husband is working from home today and he said that he will take care of breakfast and cook the rice later. In all the hurry and rush, I just had one slice of toast and a small banana. Now, after two hours , I am feeling hungry. I did a complete session of movement and bean bag exercises with one child in the morning and that aggravates the hunger. I have some biscuits with me( I keep them for emergency). I will grab two of them and have my coffee. That should keep me full till I reach home. I have messaged my husband to cook the rice before I reach home as I am super hungry and can't wait till lunch time. He has smiled and winked at the message. Some mylotting in the break time with my biscuit and coffee should distract me from the hunger. I know that once my next session starts, I am so much into it that I don't feel hungry Hope all is well in your myLot corner. Have a good time.

Your hubby is funny! If my wife called and told me she was hungry, I'd have a full meal waiting for her when she got home. I hope you're enjoying your day.

@arunima25 My wife never asked me to make food for her. It is always a pleasure for me to cook for someone I love. Oh, nice!

That's so nice of you. My husband does that too, but generally he would have a long working day and he would hardly get time to eat. So, I don't demand much. I am having a good day so far.

Yes, it does. These movement sessions make me jump, crawl and do so many movements at fast pace. It's definitely tiring.

@Shivram59 You get paid anytime between 10_15 of the month. The payout is what you reach on the last day of the month. Now, whatever you earn will go in February earnings, you will get them in March if you manage to cross the payout mark of dollar 5. It has been two months since I got paid.

If I do anything physical it sparks my hunger so I understand how you felt with bean bag exercises. I hope you finally got your meal!

It was because I skipped my regular breakfast in a hurry. Banana is good for snacks but not for a regular breakfast meal.

Yes, it's a part and parcel of life, we can't avoid it even when we are too disciplined. Happy that he was working from home that day and could take care of breakfast and cook rice. Else I would have to order food. I prefer home cooked meals.

Yes, hot home made meal. That's best and especially when one is too hungry. Yes, banana is good for snack and quick filler. But not good enough for meals.

I didn't take breakfast in all the rush that day and so it happened. I guess Banana is just good enough for a snacks not a meal. I was happy to have hot meal ready when I came back home.

@lilacskies They are supposed to be good and advised by doctor. But if you don't like it, you can't help it. Hopefully, you get all nutritional supplements from the other things that you eat.

As soon as I reached home, I entered the kitchen. My husband got a bit delayed and couldn't cook rice in time. But it was on stove and by the time, I washed and changed, hot meal was ready. I relished it and ate some extra than my regular appetite.

In fact thats the exact same thing which happened to me on same day. My alarm did not ring and I overslept and then it was mad rush as I had a meeting the first thing in the morning. I had one slice of bread with bit of jam and then I rushed. Well around the 2.30 pm mark I started feeling hungry as I could not even make it to lunch due to the pending work and well decided to come back home early at 4 pm and ordered curd rice and that was the lunch I feasted upon. Meantime I did have the biscuits and that helped till the evening. It was one of the days and I was totally drained after this experience. Have a great day ahead!

I am a diabetic and on insulin. I have Type 1.5 diabetes from my student days. And I need to inject insulin few times at regular intervals. Meal time, it's portion and sticking to it is so important. When it's not there, I feel my limbs trembling and some sort of brain fog. That's why I have to be very cautious. And there is always some snacks and dry fruits with me. Hope that you have a good Thursday. I am here for a while. It's 20 minutes break before the next child comes for the session.
