Its fair to say Trump has had a controversial first day as President, some astonishing laws passed, some crazy people freed from jail. I in 8 Americans have a criminal record and so the 1500 or so Jan 6th rioters released will see at least 10% of them re-offend, including violence and even murder. Some of these guys are hard right lunatics. Some of these guys will turn on Trump if his policies dont match theirs. Even some of the most forthright MAGA people will be shocked by this . His immigration policies will have a lot of support though and they do need to get control of the borders. In the UK we have lost control of our sea border and thousands of young Albanian men came over in boats and now they run the drug trade in the UK.
