So Where Are My Fitness Goals in All of This?

Okay, so it's a new year, 2025 and what is my status update on my health, diet and fitness goals? Well, it's sporadic at the moment. For the first week of the New Year I was traveling so I didn't make it go the gym but I was walking and climbing steps quite a bit doing day tours. Then I was home for a week, then a false start on traveling again and now I'm sick so I haven't been to the gym proper yet this year. But I will. I am 100% certain of it. My goal is by February 1st to be back at the gym 5 days each week working out and gaining strength. Now for the diet part. I lost 30 pounds in a six month period in 2024 through year-end. I strayed from that diet over Christmas and New Years as I was in India and I had to eat whatever was available, particularly their wonderful bread called naan. I also had some chocolate then because we were in the car for 4-5 hours at a time missing meals and I had to have something I could buy there. So during that two week trip I gained somewhere between 4-6 pounds, let's just call it 5 pounds, and I've lost 4 of it back. Instead of continuing with last year's numbers, I started fresh on the scale this year with this year's numbers (inclusive of the slight gain), because I didn't want to mix last year in with this year. I wanted a clean slate. So despite being sick and not going to the gym things are going well. My weight isn't up and I'm still motivated to lose 30+ more pounds in 2025, hopefully in six months like I did last year, but if not, it's okay it it takes the full year. How are you doing with your health and fitness goals?

Keto is working slow and steady. I think I’ll get my whole 30 pounds off by my cruise in September.

You are doing really well considering all your traveling and now being sick. I'm sure you'll be able to reach your goals once you're feeling better.
