They All Are Satisfied

Tonight at 9 p.m. I shut my store and went for a short walk.
I found some of my friends gossiping. They caught me and almost dragged me to a restaurant to taste samosas.
I like to eat home made; fresh food as my dinner. They knew it; but insisted me to eat with them.
While we were enjoying samosas there; my phone rang. It was my wife who told me she had prepared samosas for me and asked me to come soon.
The samosas at the restaurant were very tasty and I wanted to eat at least five samosas.
But I somehow I ate only two and requested my friends to allow me to go home.
They allowed me.
I came back home and ate five samosas prepared by my wife. I showered her with praise for preparing tasty samosas.
That's what I wanted.
I was happy that I satisfied them all

@rakski I have exactly the same problem here. In the evening mylot page does not open. I have been having the problem for last three days.

I think you need to understand, it's more polite to say 'no' and be honest. You did not please you friends by agreeing to go with them, you lied to them and they knew it. It's better to tell them the truth, that you perfer your wife's cooking. Instead, talk to the wife, invite them over. that would've worked out better for everyone.

Actually I didn't know she had planned a different treat for me. They were so stubborn that I could not resist for long. I went to the restaurant ; but; contained myself from eating more than two samosas though they were so tasty and I wanted to have more. If my wife had not called me; I would have eaten more and would not be able to satisfy her. That way I would have made both my friends and my wife dissatisfied.
Am I wrong??

@kaylachan You are right. I had many times refused to do what my friends want me to. But sometimes when they are very polite and insistive ; I succumb to them.
So far as my wife is concerned; I don't want to see her sad.I know she loves me. She had prepared snacks for me with love. She knows I eat only once a day and she is aware of my choices. I try whatever I can to s
ee her happy.

Thanks for responding. I eat only once a day. No breakfast; no breakfast; just a cup of hot tea is enough for me.Thsreafted I take lunch.
My eating habits worry. her and she kddps cooking different dishes for me almost everyday..She knows I'm fit; but she wants me to eat breakfast and lunch as well.

I think that is one of the best days of your life! I love eating my favorites and it is a sure bonus when my mom called and tell us to come home early because she cooked our favorites.

You balanced this situation very well. There are many who do not do that. They would have things with friends and then go home and not even try cooked food. Most of these people do nt even inform home and well those are the tiny reasons for marital discord. I usually have samosas as evening snacks and like samosas with less oil. But love them to be crispy and thats my personal preference. Usually ones are either too oily or too soft. But then there are some which are crisp and less oily. Reading your discussion , I feel like trying some samosas. Well, perhaps I may try some today. You have a wonderful day ahead!

I like crispy and spicy samosas; too. The samosas at the restaurant was very tasty and I wanted to have more; but just then my wife called me and I contained myself.
However the samosas prepared by her were not less tasty. I thanked her for giving me such a wonderful treat. She was very happy..I didn't tell her that I had already eaten up two samosas at the restaurant.
