Do you remember B.S.E?!!!

Who remember BSE?! Also known as ‘Mad Cow’s Disease’, BSE swept the great British shores in the 90’s. It did cause much concern and panic amongst the general public, but here in this image from the high street a local butcher is making light of the situation. On a serious note, people were affected by this contamination, and lives were changed forever for many. Fortunately, with so many protocols in place these days for quality assurance and control, the food industry is extremely safe.

These diseases come along from time to time. I guess it will always be the case. I love the sign.

"with so many protocols in place these days for quality assurance and control, the food industry is extremely safe." I don't believe in what actions the gov't takes with our food anymore with so many people that's getting sick.
