How Much Lower Can a Man Go?

I am so sick of him already.....and now this. Trump has said how religious he is and such a god-fearing man. He invites folks to the Washington D.C. church and hears a sermon. The Bishop spoke about most immigrants being good neighbors and not criminals. She said that there were gay, lesbian, and transgender children who are now fearing for their lives. Then when Bishop Budde asks him, in her sermon, to have mercy on such immigrants and transgenders he comes back with a nasty rebuke on Truth Social. He called the Bishop "so-called" and a Trump hater. He wrote that the sermon was "uninspiring", "nasty in tone, and not compelling or smart." What a jerk! A downright nasty man that can't see what the Bishop was trying to do. She was later on a show I watched and she is very soft-spoken, gracious and intelligent. I'm not a religious person at all but I certainly respect and admire what religious clergymen do and their sacrifices. For Putz to say the things he did just shows how ignorant and uncultured he is. The White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt feels that Budde should apologize for "the lies she told". What? The Bishop says she won't be apologizing. For what anyway? For asking for mercy for these people? For him to show some decency? Calls to crisis hotlines and LGBTQ youth suicide prevention have gone up by 33 percent since the Inauguration. Isn't their lives hard enough without Trump doing this to them? The picture is from my collection.
