Have you ever had sucidial thoughts or you helped someone with the same problem?

Some of us didn't have it, thankfully but many people do or did and maybe approached someone for help yet, the help was denied or they received some help.
I remember reading The Horse mylotter talking to his friend when she called him, which was really nice.
I know it's a sensitive issue but do you know someone with these thoughts, how did you help or you were the one that needed the help?
I'm just curious. I think the worst thing is to write or say that you don't seem so down.

It was 15 or more years ago. I was on a website that was a sort of social media but not FB or YouTube.
A woman from Texas said she wanted to do away with herself. It was Christmas. She was lonely with no help, no presents, no dinner. I talked to her most of that day while we were all in the clubhouse under a hurricane watch. I told her she was precious to God and that people cared. I told her that I was the only one who saw her post and God had sent me to see it and respond because He loved her.
Finally, toward the end of my day, a friend came to see her with a plate of food, pie, and some gifts. She changed her screen name to Precious. I knew then that she would be alright.

precious is a nice nickname and so kind and generous of you to reach out to her. depressed or unhappy people only need some kind words, nothing more. i'm also glad that her friend visited her. a hurricane watch;did you have a hurricane ?
