Planetary Parade is where the 4 to 6 planets will appear to line up in the sky from our perspective here on Earth. It is said that it can be seen from January 21 to 29 but can still be visible until mid February but best view will be on January 25th (today for us ). Since we were out for dinner , we did not see it and now when I look in the sky, it is cloudy. My friend from college where at the observatory a while ago. How I wish I can go there but it is quite far from us.

It's probably visible but you need to know where to look.

I live in the city and there is quite a bit of light pollution that makes it hard to see all the stars and planets in the sky, but I can see a couple of them; I just don't know what planets are the ones I can see.

@rakski We have beautiful clear skies tonight, so I probably could go outside and look at the planets, but it is too cold for me to go outside.

It's too bad it's cloudy there or you could take a picture and show us... I never remember to go out and look at the planets and stars but would have to drive somewhere away from our house to look, anyway. Our house is surrounded by trees... Even without their leaves, the branches hide the sky quite well.

@rakski Thank you but you don't need to go to any trouble for me. I was teasing you.

@rakski It depends on what side of the building it's seen. I'm on the west side, so I might not see the planets. I'll look when I go to bed shortly.

Same here. My friends went to the observatory yesterday. To see it clearly you still need some telescope
