Is Twitter worth the Premium charge?

I have always wondered if X - formerly known as Twitter, is worth paying the Premium charge on. There is Premium and Premium+ and you can eradicate the annoying adverts if you pay the price for it. The main attraction must be the ability to monetise your content on the platform.
Before we get excited, a little digging suggests a ballpark of $8.50 per 1m impressions. This seems a lot of interaction for such a small sum. My impressions are currently running around 18-20k per week, so it would be pointless me even making the effort, or maybe I am wrong?
Once you are a premium member, your engagement is boosted by the platform. You would have to be active and the best way to encourage engagement is to be controversial. The responses may not be positive, but you will get plenty of engagement this way. Popular subjects are politics, reality TV and cycling!
Have you ever considered monetising your online content?

I do monitize my online content by posting on places like Mylot which pays for what you post. I do not believe in a system like X where you have to pay a fee for the possibility to get paid. It should be like Youtube , Tiktok or other platforms where you build a following and get paid for what you're already doing.

I agree with you. I imagine those that already have that presence elsewhere would quickly pay for their fee in no time.

I have no interest in Twitter. I suppose I would monetize my music videos if I could. But it's not that important to me. Here's one of my earliest videos. I hope you enjoy it. No money in it for me, though.
