Well I am cooking a bit this afternoon.

I was kind of not feeling motivated or well earlier today. It was not lack of sleep. May have been pure laziness.
I had a box of scalloped potatoes to fix, added onions and ham. I have been meaning to make an egg bake, and now that is done. Bob is coring a cabbage for me to chop to put in a Runza or Bierocks casserole. Name depends on if you are from Kansas or Nebraska. I will get that made this evening. With those items we will be set for the week, but I also want to make some goodies and other side dishes.
Tomorrow will be a full day. Church and then laundry. We will pack a lunch of some kind to enjoy.
There are places that we are beginning to see a little bit of ground. I hope the trend continues. I do not like living in a sno cone.
Last night at bed time I could hear the coyotes. I still slept okay.

. But the web is perfect for all of that. A few years ago I was wondering iddly about the lyrics of a song by Brenda Lee. It was called Jambalaya. The song led to a wonderful world of recipes from New Orleans. Now I´ll check this one.

It can be a lonesome sound, or disturbing if it is too close to home. I grew up listening to them at night when I visited my grandparents.

Well, a week later. I have snow where the yard stays shady and I am sure that where snow has been scraped and piled it has not all melted.
