Merry Christmas

This is Adeline and her mommy. We all had a great time visiting and catching up. I know Adeline's big brother was surprised when he got some presents and her mommy was even more surprised when she got some. I told her only one was picked up just for her but I wanted the gifts to be used. She loved the afghan that I had made for sons girlfriend.
I have to say I am very glad mommy got custody as Adeline seems very relaxed and happy. She also acted more like a kid than I had seen her act in a long time. That made me extremely happy. I hope we can continue building a new relationship. I enjoyed seeing Adeline's big brother too. It had been around 6 years since we really seen him. He was only 4 when they split up.
We didn't have pizza as the girls slept in. So I made a chocolate cake. Everyone enjoyed that. Especially the kids.
They were all here about 4 hours. After they all left we just relaxed. Hope you had a good day.

I'm glad things turned out well and everyone enjoyed their Christmas gifts!
I'm glad Monster seemed relaxed and happy. Good things can come out of strained relationships.

I am so glad it all went so well and that Adeline is doing well, too. Hopefully you will be able to see her more often.

I am glad you all had such a good time, I looked at the photo and I can see that Adeline looks like mom, So Adeline had a brother and when mom and dad divorced Adeline stayed with dad and brother went with mom?

They were never married and she already had her son. Adeline does look like her mom but has my side of the family's hair. I was hoping she would get her mom's hair as ours is thin and fine
