I am longing for the original black forest cake

These bakeries here sell black forest cakes but they are not original.
When I was on a holiday package of Europe we visited Germany and there we got to taste the original black forest cake Normally tour conductors only take us to Indian restaurants but for a change they took us to a German restaurant and we all got to taste the original black forest cake
It was rich, and delicious.
I can never trust these online Sites who claim they have this cake on sale. I would rather just look at that photo and get satisfied.

The one in the picture is what I think of as the black forest cake. Wonder how other black forest cake looks.

You may find nice looking cakes but it is the taste that matters

I like to eat Black Forest Cake as well. The cake shops around me used to sell it on a whole or by slices, for some reasons, a lot of cake shops had closed down or they no longer manufacture any black forest cake.
