In whatever field the children of our foster care home can choose to make their career but a part of success for me as a foster father is make them settled happily in married life. So far about twenty odd boys and girls of our home have been married off. However, only a few had their marriage reception in the home itself. And to be specific, no boy ever had his wedding reception in the home. For this reason today's wedding reception is special. Osim who lived his childhood in our home but became a young man in one of our director's relative's family. He chose career as a hotel hospitality worker and worked in different parts of India. But as he spent his childhood years in our home it was decided that his marriage reception could be had here.
Compared with the receptions in the local society Osim's reception is modest. In my calculation, at the most 200 people sat for the dinner under the canopy (pandal), including our inmate children.
The quite obvious feel of the time is that our children are quite excited. At this moment, at 10:45 they are still dancing to the trending DJ music. Hope the music to stop that I can send the merry children to their respective houses. It's next to impossible to send them into their houses in such happy occasions. But if the guests leave children will definitely stop dancing. Most of the guests have already gone back. Those who are still under the dinner pandal will leave in half an hour or so.

200 would be a lot of people to have at a wedding reception here and would cost a small fortune too. The children will remember this night for a long time.
