Are shampoos expensive in your country?

I have a skin problem and I need a type of shampoo. Until now it was around $7 or maybe $8. It isn't such a special shampoo. It has just an ingredient and it's useful for my problem. Anxiety caused all kinds of diseases and now I have to fight all of them. I couldn't believe it when I saw the price of that shampoo. It is almost $50. How could it become so expensive in such a short time? And it doesn't even solve my problem. I will have to go to a dermatologist and ask for something else. On many sites, it still has the same price. But in an online shop where I bought everything it's $50. How much is a shampoo in your country?

Those specialized ones for hair or skin are expensive as well here. Most of the times, they are imported

I can’t imagine having to pay $50 for shampoo. My own shampoo I paid $11 for. The cheapest available here is probably $7 or $8 like you mentioned.

I would never spend so much for a shampoo. I am not addicted to any brand. I try using the economical ones.

Three to five is normal six to ten on the high end. Unless you're buying prescription grade stuff.

Oh no Diana! That is crazy expensive price. I wish I knew something cheaper to help you. Yes some shampoos are expensive here, but I cannot buy those. I wonder if you could find your help on YouTube and perhaps get that ingredient you need and make it at home.

It depends on the brand of the shampoo. Shampoos here are also insanely high.
