Good Sunday to you all, hope your weekend has been a good one. Not a lot exciting about this weekend for me just been hanging around and getting some house cleaning done. I did go through some boxes that were stored away and got rid of some stuff I didn’t need to be storing. I was able to pull some old blankets and some winter clothing like a few pairs of old gloves and 2 heavier jackets that I end up going to the homeless shelter with. The blankets were more like throw blankets I think they are called. They are not really full sized but the lady at the shelter said they could use them, so she took them. Which is good cause I know I have another box with some more that I will find and get them over to her this week because she said they could always use them. She also mentioned that they could always take canned goods and nonperishable foods and blankets. So, I put up a sign in our apartment building lounge that I would be taking those things over if and one has anything they want to give and put an empty box out there and in 1 day the box is filled. It’s good to see people willing to help. This time of year, is good since it is so cold out more people are going to the shelter. Hope you all have a good week.
