The only use I make of carbon paper is when I submit my medical claim expenses.I need to send it in duplicate. In this digital world when copying is just the job of the mouse carbon paper is hardly of any use. Having said that there could be situations where our dear myLotters could use it. Curious to know if there is anyone here that makes good use of the carbon paper Image Credit:https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Carbon_paper.jpg

If not for that manual submission of medical expense reimbursement even I would be away from it for years.

I hated that stuff! I always got it all over my hands when I had to handle carbon paper. I haven't seen anyone use it in 20 years or more.

Why would the carbon paper mess your hands in not known. It never happened to me when I used it quite often in the good old days

@allknowing I'd always touch the wrong side and it rubbed off on me.

While reading your discussion I realized I have not seen carbon paper for a long long time. While I was using manual typewriters, before we started using Computers, we would use carbon paper for duplicate copies of all that we typed.

We still have some hanging about but haven't needed it for quite a while.

Even here I see it being used for just one need.
