Something a little different

Our "social climate committee" has evidently seen some online things where teachers and staff go "undercover" for a type of spirit week.
The adults have different dress up themes, and they all (those who choose to) dress to the themes and wait to see if students notice. They do not tell anyone why.
Today we are dressing all in black to mourn the passing of the weekend. I can do this. Tomorrow will be dressing in holiday attire. Any holiday--Christmas, Easter, St. Patrick's. I would do St. Urho, but no one would know that. It is an American made up day to celebrate a non existant Finnish Saint, celebrated March 16. It involves wearing Royal Purple and Nile Green.
Wednesday I am taking a personal day, but it is royalty day--wear a crown or tiara. It also happens to be Kansas Day where we explore the culture of Kansas, every year. We have guest speakers and musicians and art and animals. I am going with Bob on an appointment instead.
I need to finish getting ready for work right now. I have on black everything, that was pretty easy.
I will be back sometime later today.

We often have sports themes in our spirit weeks. We would all need to wear Chiefs clothes. I do not have a favorite, but Bob has some Packers T shirts.

That sounds like a hoot! Especially mourning the passing of the weekend. Have a great week, and keep us posted on these things!

I will miss out on the tiara day. I know that Thursday we are supposed to wear summer gear, shorts, sunglasses, flip flops, etc. I have to look up what Friday is supposed to be.

Have a good day at work.
I'm sure a few of the students will notice but am curious if they'll say anything.

Maybe some of the older kids will say something. Kids in our program will not.
