Rhe more you read the more you learn that anything you do can cause cancer. And as I´m surviving cancer, I wonder which of the many things that I have done in my life caused it. Many years ago, when I was barely on remission from my lymphoma, I asked my doctor friend what caused it and he told me that nobody knew but in my case it could even be due to having dated a man after my husband died. Of course I did not answer to that. I´m sure that our closest man friends are a little bit jealous ouf other men in our lives. But along the years I have eaten lots of butter (I adore butter and a lot of salt on corn on the cob). And I have also had more than my share of eggs when eggs were the cause of bad cholesterol. But due to my lack of money, I will not have cancer because I own and use a smartwatch. Coral showed me for the first time a smartwatch in Aruba. I wanted one but of course I did not have the money to buy one. Now I think that they are less expensive but at the same time I read that something in them was unfealthy. OMG!!! If I live long enough, I will buy one when they are not unsafe any longer. Just like butter and eggs, I´m sure that human beings will discover something else to blame for our problems. Although when I buy it, I will probably be moving in a wheelchair. I am hardly walking now. See you later, friends

I think that he did not like him. So he thought that he had made me suffer and so caused my immune system to have problems. He did not understand that I was not "exchanging" him in my heart for my late husband. And I was not going to explain it to him.

@marguicha It wasn't the doctors business who you dated, anyway. He should have minded his own business instead of trying to make you worry about something silly.

@DaddyEvil Humberto is really my best friend more than my doctor. He is Dixie´s husband. He has my permission to say anything. I am closer to them more than to my blood family.

@RebeccasFarm I think that the problems of my legs and feet are side effects of the chemo.

Doctors still only pretend to know what causes cancer and I'm sure it isn't our favorite foods! When I got skin cancer, doctors told me to avoid being in the sun... I'm a night owl and am awake mostly at night and rarely go out in the sun. (I take Vitamin D to make up for not getting enough sun. ) While I still worked at Walmart, I bought Pretty smart watches when they were on clearance. She loves them and is still using the last one I bought her. (She wouldn't hook the first ones up to her own cellphone because she didn't want anyone to find out she had a phone number so she hooked them up to my phone. I kept deleting the app for her smartwatch. I told her my phone didn't like the app so deleted it. At least she hooked this one into her own cell phone.)

@marguicha I love hard boiled eggs! I don't make them very often because Pretty complains about the smell of them boiling. I don't usually add salt when I'm eating hard boiled eggs, though. And they're still the best food in the world.

@marguicha She still complains if she sees me eating them, too. She claims I'm eating chicken farts.

Life is life and the Lord watches over me so I don't worry about what can harm me. Life is much too short for that,

Vince has a smartwatch. I won't tell him about the cancer issue. I wonder about all these warnings and how much of it just trying to get readers/attention/whatever.

@JudyEv Everything seems to be unhealthy. Which is right, after all. Because we are all going to die at one time of another.

@marguicha I remember the fuss about eggs, chocolate, etc. You have to take it all with a grain of salt - but not too much as salt is bad for you too!!

I always say that medicine is always getting better but that it is still in the beginning.
