Would you put a good word for a family member for a job?

Or maybe that's a big no for you? It doesn't have to be the place where you work or it can be. Do you think everyone should make it on their own or you think that a word or two won't kill your reputation and you won't feel uncomfortable for asking some people to help out cause, if you won't help your family members, who will you help? We all have different experiences and perspectives so, what do you think?

I believe jobs require references. I don’t think family is allowed though.

i was thought more of putting a good word for someone like, telling to your boss or someone you know, if you ever need someone, i know this person is good, etc. i know direct setting the job is impossible.

It depends, if that family is trust worthy enough, no one wants to jeopardize their work status by recommending a lazy and not trust worthy relative in a job.

But if it is a trustworthy and hard working person, you would recommend this family member or put a good word?
