I used the term peanut brittle as this will be better understood. We call it chikki. I wrote about the order I had placed and it has arrived. This peanut brittle is made with jaggery which is healtheir tha sugar There are a total of 75 pieces neatly wrapped. They are quite easy on the teeth though brittle. I have already had a few and feel like having more. I must keep my craving in check.

I love peanut brittle although it’s been awhile since I’ve had it. People here make it a lot for Christmas, then put it in a pretty tin to give out as presents to family and friends.

I love them but have to restrict myself due to my diabetes. A very healthy choice of snacking especially in this season. It's good for bone health. Enjoy it.

I was not sure if my teeth coul dhandle them. I was pleasantly surprised that I can eat them easily. I know the health benefits of both peanuts and jaggerey Sad you cannot eat them.

@allknowing Glad that you can eat them and that doesn't bother your teeth. Enjoy them! I have some in my home. I might grab half piece to enjoy after reading this.

I haven't had these in a while, but I remember how delicious they were. Good to know they're easy on the teeth, I guess it's the jaggery that makes it softer than sugar based brittle.

Oh, chikki sounds absolutely delicious! Using jaggery instead of regular sugar makes it such a healthier and more flavorful treat. It’s amazing how something so simple—peanuts and jaggery—can turn into something so addictive. I can totally understand why you’re tempted to keep eating more! ?? 75 pieces sounds like a lot, but I’m sure they’ll disappear faster than you think, especially if they’re as soft and satisfying as you describe. It’s great that they arrived well-packaged too, so they stay fresh and intact. How do you usually enjoy your chikki? Do you have it as a snack with tea, or do you save it for special occasions? Either way, it sounds like a treat worth savoring (even if it’s hard to resist eating them all at once!). ???

I munch it and not necessarily while having tea. That was sure an eulogy for the simple chikki
