My 40th Birthday Party, Golden Girls Style!

I was originally planning my own birthday 40th birthday party at my best friend's house, but it was going to be simpler than anything, just Golden Girls-themed. Wellllllll, my younger sister took over the planning, and it turned out better than it would've been had I done it. I knew the date, time, and place, plus she asked for my original guest list and my opinion on certain Golden Girls decor, but the rest was to be a surprise. *Record Scratch* Oh wait, I didn't know the place after all. She rented a hall and our best friend got me there. That part definitely surprised me lol. It was so much fun. The food was delicious, and yes, there was cheesecake. We took pictures with photo props. I wasn't worried about presents, but I did get some nice things. My sister also gave me the Golden Girls decor (a "Keep Calm and Eat Cheesecake" sign and some planters). And most of all, I got to celebrate a milestone birthday with the people I love. :D We used my Instax Mini (Polaroid camera), in which my sister put the pictures on a small corkboard, which is sitting on my desk. There are also pictures across several smartphones. Those of you who are on my Facebook and/or Instagram can find the pictures on my page (I'm not adding anyone I don't know to either page, sorry). I loved it so much. I appreciate my younger sister for taking over and doing this for me, those who pitched in, and those who showed up to celebrate. Everyone made me feel so loved, and that goes a long way. :) Not a bad way to start off my fourth decade. :D Photo Credit: It's my picture.
