Trump is celebrating that Jim Acosta is leaving CNN

Because of course he is. He is a petty snowflake who couldn't handle Acosta serving up challenging questions when he was the Chief White House reporter. Trump insulted him saying to his face, told him to put the mic down, and even revoked Acosta's White House press pass until an appeals court reinstated it. Snowflake. I don't remember what Acosta did after he left the White House beat and Kaitlan Collins replaced him. I think he was just kind of a roving political reporter but honestly it gets difficult to keep track of it all. He was eventually given a 10am hour-long political show and did very well with it. It drew some of the highest ratings on the network. The top execs at CNN have been like a revolving door over the years. This newest one (whatever his name is) warned over 100 reporters to not politicize Trump's recent inauguration. His next move was to shuffle the show schedule moving Wolf Blitzer and Pamela Brown to Acosta's time slot and offering him a midnight to 2 am one. What?!?!?! Apparently it was all about having fewer views for Acosta's searing takes on Trump and his actions so as not to antagonize him. I guess they are reeling from the $5 million they had to pay for Jake Tapper saying. . . I don't even remember. I truly don't that is how much it didn't make an impression on my brain. So Jim Acosta said HELL NO and quit. He signed off today with a blistering commentary about standing up to tyrants and always speaking the truth. Trump of course responded by calling Acosta a loser and said he would fail wherever he wound up. Classy.
