I am reading old emails from Monday and see where southern Idaho had a 4.2 earthquake about 9:30a. that morning. It happens that I felt something weird about that time but I thought it was just one of my occasional bouts with vertigo.
I guess Boston had a 3.8 one too. I don't recall ever hearing of one in Boston before. Interesting.
Every time I hear of one I think of the special doc I saw about a year ago about the major one in Yellowstone that could happen any old time now. Ikes!
Any earthquakes in your area lately?

None for a few years. And it was very minor

Friends of mine living in New England said they felt something yesterday. The only earthquake that actually was an earthquake felt more like a truck hitting my house: one jolt, then that was it. (When I was a kid, a chemical plant exploded in town, and I DEFINITELY felt that!)

That's how this was. That's one reason I thought it was just some vertigo. Explosions are note worthy for sure

@celticeagle — yes, and we were about 7-10 miles from the DuPont plant when that happened.

Can't it though? I am excited to look forward to some good lightning storms in the springtime. I really enjoy those and a light rain now and then.

Just a week ago we experienced an earthquake here, I was at school that time, teaching my students. If I am not mistaken it was 5.4 magnitude. Luckily the epicenter was 5-6 hours away from here, so we just felt 3.2 magnitude. I was really scared that time because I was with the kids. If it's just me It's okay, but I have 15 little lives in my care. So yeah it was nerve wrecking.
