We had a Fall experience when our cashew tree decided to leave us We were not prepared for this. That year the tree was laden with a bumper of fruits and then followoed whithering of leaves. It was Fall of leaves covering a big part of our garden This tree gave us joy for atleast 20 years. We sold the nuts, we made juice and wine from the cashe apple. We realised later it was eaten by termites below othe ground level I created a video in its memory You can watc it here

That's a shame about your tree. Termites do a lot of destruction in our buildings and forests too.

@allknowing All buildings here are treated for termites. There is a special mesh put in the foundations and if you sell a house you need a certificate to say the building is termite-free.

Oh gosh did an exterminator kill the termites so that won’t happen to other trees there?

Oh! Sorry about that. Termites are really voracious and it's tough to get rid of them. The tree served you for so long and deserves a video in it's memory.

Sorry the termites killed it, it was such a majestic tree. And I love cashew nuts, I don't have them often because they're quite expensive over here.
