They Switched The Formula Again

Dagnabbit! I kept thinking my chocolate protein shakes tasted different this week. Today's the third day = my third one of the new box we opened. It's supposed to be chocolate but it tastes more like mocha/coffee. It tasted good nevertheless. So this morning when the third one tasted the same way, I got to looking at the bottle. It looked different. The label looked different. Normally my shakes say "Advanced Nutrition" on the label. These say "High Protein" And the nutrition values on the back are different as well. So either Sam's Club shipped us the wrong ones this time or they've changed their formula and labeling again. They did this two years ago and dropped the "Lactose Free" from the label, prompting me to call them to ask if they had lactose or not. It's "low lactose" and they changed the wording due to legal ramifications of saying "Lactose Free" instead of "Low Lactose" if a little leeched in. Yep, I just looked it up on their website. It says, "New Look, Same Great Taste." Nope, it's different. It's twice the carbs now even though it's promoting itself as "Part of a low carb lifestyle." I hate when products change and keep changing so often. Now I might have to go shopping for a new protein shake brand. And this one took me trial and error of more than a dozen protein shakes.

I hate that as well. The most I remember having that problem was with a laundry detergent when my kids were little. I am now always skeptical of a label that says "New and Improved" because often it is not improved.

I see that a lot. No it's not improved.

That isn't great that they switched it up on you like that.

Didn’t that “New Coke” fiasco in the 80s teach anybody ANYTHING??? If it’s doing well DON’T MESS WITH IT. Sheesh.

I hate when a product does that as well. Hope you find something that works for you and that tastes great
