What view do I trust? / myLot

Here, in my recliner, I look to the left toward the staircase window and see rain falling on the walnut tree's bare limbs. I look to the right and see gray but mild skies on the brick walk's arch. Supposed to be snow showers today. Guess I will know soon enough. Happy Saint Brigid's Day. Happy Imbolc if you lean toward the Pagan side of the universe. Happy looking toward Spring- there's a view that I like- peering toward Spring. May the Irish Pipes play soft music for you. Blessed Mote it be.

It's like spring time this week, I know how winter is in Alabama, so it's a weather fake us out .

@andriaperry Do you have mountain passes to mess with in Alabama? I am grateful that I do not have a reason to drive West to East in my state. There's talk of heavy snow falling in the Passes this weekend.

@sallypup yes. In central Alabama we have the mountains and flat land. North Alabama are mountains, South Alabama have most of the flat land nearing the beach areas. I'm 30 minutes away from Georgia.

@andriaperry Sounds beautiful. We spent a couple of lovely days in Savvanah a few years ago. The mirror that I bought from an art gallery hangs in my upstairs hallway.

Saint Brigid’s Day/Imbolc is where we may find the origins of Groundhog Day. I know if that rodent sees his shadow tomorrow the soup of the day on Monday is going to be groundhog stew.

Our son in Ireland reminded us of St Brigid's Day. We actually went to her well and Vince put his sore finger under the water there.

@sallypup We were going to the well anyway but he had a sore finger so thought he'd stick it under the water. It did get better but I'm not sure what the spring water had to do with it. lol
