The casual chit chat : 1st of Feb ' 2025 / myLot

Well, a casual chit chat after a long time. It had become sort of a norm during early Covid times and well what a buzzing site it was then! Anyways, we had to be outside by 10.45 AM today and we got a but delayed. Then an unplanned stop for a Cafe. Tea and some snacks followed. I had an extended weekend office work which I did later. Then I caught up on yesterday's India vs England T 20 highlights. Good that India won a hard fought match by 14 runs. (image attached : caught from Disney + Hotstar) Then we had a lot to talk plus some Internet time. I plan to read the novel before sleeping. Days are warmer but nights have some chill factor left. How was your day?

My part of the US is getting warmer with chilly nights still... But we often get snow in February and early March. Pretty put in an order for groceries this morning and my brother will bring them later this afternoon. (I can't see well enough to drive today.) We also need to pick up several prescriptions from the pharmacy, too. I hope you're having a good night.

@DaddyEvil The day night temperature difference is quite high. I suppose this could be a factor that can cause Flu. Sometimes we dress up for certain level of cold & then suddenly it very warm and well, at times a recipe for Flu or cold. Are you having some Eye infection? Is it warming faster than expected?

It's still around noon here. My husband has dozed off it seems so I turned off the t.v. It doesn't need to run if neither of us are watching it.I can work with or without it.

I hadn't caught up with the cricket results. India must have played well as I think the Aussies had left them a big score to chase.

@JudyEv India beat England in the 4th T 20 to wrap the series and stand at 3-1. The Aussies are busy pounding Sri Lanka with big score and might have won the match by now.
