Firefighters rescue a tree worker who fell down a natural crevice in New York

A male tree worker who was cutting trees in the Rosendale Hamlet on Wednesday January 29 near lunchtime when the worker whose name was not mentioned fell down 100 feet into a natural crevice when he was clearing trees.
The tree worker fell down a cavern by a falling limb which caused the worker to suffer a leg and an injury to his side when his co-workers used their tree climbing gear to assist him before first responders and firefighters from the Bloomingdale Fire Department to rescue the accident victim.
After the accident victim was rescued by the firefighters, the accident victim was taken by ambulance to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie New York where the victim is expected to make a full recovery.

That looks to be a very dangerous, and scary, place to be cutting trees in, and it was good that he could be rescued from such a place without too serious injuries.
