Animal rescuers save a deer who was in a frozen river in Washington D C

Brandywine Valley SPCA employees teamed up with the Washington D C Police Department on Thursday January 16 to rescue a deer who fell into the Potomac River which was freezing.
The rescue team which included the DC Fire and EMS Fireboat crew as well as the police department used a hovercraft to rescue the deer who was in the frozen river and move the deer into solid ground where the deer went back to the forest unharmed.

I am very glad the deer was rescued. Up in the Adirondacks they rescued a moose from a semi frozen lake. That must have been difficult.

It was good that they got the deer out before it got more frozen. I bet it was scared for its dear life.

I am sure that the deer was scared in the frozen river when he was rescued by the rescue team.
