Good afternoon from cloudy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA where the forecast calls for about 2 inches of snow tonight. I hope so. I don't want to be disappointed again. This morning was the Winter Market. There was a lot more foot traffic than there has been since Christmas. I had some interest in my books and a lot of amazement from people who looked at my books on the table, but sadly, no sales today. As a group, we decided we're not doing the Winter Market again next year. We're sitting there for four hours, hawking our wares like the rest of the market, but no results. It's not worth the time for us when we could be more productive at home. People are more interested in food than anything else. The person beside us selling cheese did wonderfully. The person on the other side selling salsa did well. Between the four of us, we had one sale. I hope we all do better next time, but after this year, we won't participate again. After the market, my neighbor and I went shopping at Dollar Tree and the grocery store. I spent a lot more than I expected, especially since I hadn't planned to spend anything at Dollar Tree. I spent $15. I also spent more at the grocery store where I only planned to buy bananas and came out with four salads, a dinner, and dessert. I just finished the dinner - spaghetti and meatballs. I knew when I got home I would be too hungry to wait for the oven to cook my fish. I also got six laps on the hallways when I got home, so I have all my steps, just not the hourly ones.
