1 February - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from cold Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. The current temperature is 24 F and feels like 14 F. There's a raw breeze out there. I looked out the patio door a short while ago and saw snow in the cracks in the drive. It's snowing, though I couldn't see it, I saw the evidence of it.
So, what am I thankful for today?
I'm thankful the Winter Market is over. It was a long four hours without sales. We decided we're not doing the Winter Market in the future.
I'm thankful for the shopping my neighbor and I did after the market. I spent more than I planned, but it's all good. I found two things at Dollar Tree that I didn't know I needed. One was a desktop vacuum. I didn't know those things existed. I wasn't going to get it, but I had one of those 'I'll regret it' later thoughts and went back to get it. I also got a new charger for my phone. That I knew I needed. I didn't know I could get it so cheap - $5. There were a few other things too, but those were the things I didn't know I needed or could get there. I'm thankful for bananas. They looked good at the store for a change. I also bought quick meals.
I'm thankful it's payday. I got a surprise e-mail this morning from Social Security.
I'm thankful the bank was open when the market ended and I could get money for the week.
I'm thankful I have all my steps. I only need to do this hours steps and I'll be finished for the day.

Glad you got your SS. Mine come in next Saturday and then I do my online grocery shopping, I thanked the Lord today for another new month,

What cute door deco you have. The two dollar tree stores we had close by are now gone. My SS comes on Monday. Wishful thinking nowadays.

I'm thankful that I too got paid early. I was nt expecting the early payday. I'm thankful that it was comfortable out and George and I went outside. He's eating now.

I'm glad you were able to get so much done. I'm sorry about the book sales. I'm thankful for a dry house. It's Imbolc- St. Brigid's Day. I'm grateful for Celtic legends and mystery. This day reminds me that life happened before I showed up and will continue on when its my time to go.

Ah cool. I always have a problem with banana, they looked good at the store but often they went downhill the moment I decided to adopt them home.
I am appreciative that on 1 Feb that the Food Delivery man still decided to delivery food to us despite of the rain and not cancelling our order which most would have done so.

Happy Payday from SSA. I get paid early from Huntington and from work, three days ago. I never heard of a desktop vacuum. But I had a cordless vacuum that recently bit the dust. I'm thankful that my stress is lower than last year, and I ordered my groceries to be delivered this afternoon and not tomorrow afternoon.

I had a long drive close to 9 hours. I am thankful I did not risk with just 8 litres of gas in tank and almost 74 kms to cover. It would have been risky and did not feel that it was worth it. Had the gas filled although that meant turning around and losing time on road. I was thankful I explored a new route although it made me little nervous at times. Took rest after reaching and did not do a thing giving the body and mind some rest and that should allow me to good and fresh in the morning. Good to see you were able to get charger at cheaper rate.There are purchases we do that we regret. Take care!
