Hi, I have a dumb question on a Saturday night

When it says “Property Name” on an apartment application, (see pic) how exactly do they want you to answer this? Do they want you to put: The property I want is a room here. Or I don’t own the property, I can only rent it. Or I live at (current address?) and it is partially my property. Or I am nobody’s property. How dare you Pretty sad when you get stumped on the first question. I’ve been leaving this one blank on all the other applications. Perhaps this would explain the lack of callbacks. I’ll be back later if anyone is kind enough to answer this. And will hit up all notifications after the weekend. Love u guys and thanks

If you're wishing to rent a room or apartment in an apartment complex, the complex usually has a name. So, the property name is the name the property goes by. Like Marcell Gardens or Baraington (both apartments I lived at) When you apply, they need to know where and what it's called.

I was considering that, my grandma lived in 'Sunshine Village' (the name of the apartment complex she lived in).

@Scarred4Lyfe Yeah, well that's what they're looking for. It's not uncommmon for one person or company, to own more than one complex. So seeing the name of the desired complex usually is helpful.

Ok, so they want the name of their complex. My brother was telling me the same thing, but I couldn’t figure out why they would need a reminder. Maybe when someone has a stack of applications they should put that title on first, so they don’t get the apps all mixed up.. Thank you Kayla!

Good luck with it..hope you get it Mels. Well I am experienced at moving every year or two, so you just put the name of the place you would be applying to..for instance..Arvada Apartments or some such.

Others gave you the answer. The name of the apartment complex. I was momentarily stumped but surmised that was the response. Good luck with the apartment!

Perhaps the address of the place you wish to rent - I imagine many of those people have multiple properties and use the same form for each of them. I myself might call the prospective landlord and ask them what they mean.

You are lucky if they answer. I don’t know why, but in my case, 90% of them never pick up. Even during normal business hours. So I just keep walking in and surprising them. They are learning to love me. Haha I think the search is over anyway. I found my place. They remind me of little cottages.. lots of Willow trees and long walking trails. Thanks again :))
