How I spent the first day of February

I keep forgetting to take photos to share with my posts.
Last night my throat was scratchy and my neck felt tight. I definitely think I’m coming down something yet again.
My little one was pretty grumpy today to so I’m thinking she may be feeling sick as well.
I made pancakes with peanut butter protein powder in them and m&ms. My little one loved them. I used to make pancakes with m&ms in them often for my older kids when they were younger. My son ate the pancakes today too but didn’t want m&ms in his.
She and I made slime together. She kept having meltdowns when she was playing with it so I took it away and we went and read books. We finished a thick Winnie the Pooh treasury book.
At 2pm my husband went hunting with a friend. Everything was covered in ice here so I was worried but he was fine.
My little one and I also made a fresh batch of playdough.
It was a nice day where I felt I got to spend a lot more quality time with my little girl. I had offered to take my son to two thrift stores and an antique store but he decided this morning that he didn’t want to so we all just stayed home.

Feel better soon - hopefully it's just that and it won't get full blown. It's nice you had that quality family time . . . so much fun for little ones to make "stuff". Sometimes we have to run around so much - staying home feels so relaxing and good.

@RebeccasFarm it was a nice day and today so far is going nicely too. I wish I wasn’t sick I’d have more energy but my little one and I are finding calm things to keep us busy.

I never liked slime after I made it for Pretty... It got all over everything and I hated cleaning it up. (I only made it once!!)

@Daddyevil I found some in my hair I pulled out when I was cuddling with her and stuck it in my house coat pocket until I got up to throw it away. But then I forgot about it and it will be in there feeling gross forever now.

@GardenGerty I’d rather have a nice relaxing day at home without being sick but I’ve been sick a lot the last few months. Hopefully this passes quickly mostly feels like a cold.

@snowy22315 I wonder when it was first produced. I loved in when I was young too. We had gak which was very similar but I liked more.

That's good to know you are having a wonderful day. Tomorrow I have to go to the clinic to have my laboratory test, hoping it will be also have a good result. Enjoy the rest of the week.

@wolfgirl569 I think so as well but it can ruin things if it gets on it and doesn’t get cleaned up fast enough so some parents hate it.

@Marilynda1225 I definitely have a cold. She was constipated but is feeling better now. We won’t be attending story hour which is where I likely picked up this germ to begin with. I hate when parents or their kids are sick and they take them there.
