Sha'nya Bennett was in the company of the father of her five year old son in tow in Dothan Alabama on January 19 when a snowstorm hit the town and Keon Mitchell who is the dad of the five year old boy could not make it to the local hospital due to the roads being covered in snow.
The couple were at the parking lot at the Krispy Kreme doughnut when the baby was born before the first responders arrived to deliver the child who is named Dallas Bennett.
Both Dallas and his mom were taken were taken by an ambulance to the local hospital on Wednesday and they were released on Friday that same week.
The management of the Krispy Kreme decided to receive free donuts for one year and host the family at their store on his first birthday.
I am sure that the management is doing this kind act for the right reasons and not to be considered showoffs.

It is a nice gesture of the Krispy Kreme management to help the couple with the birth of their child.

Wow that's so sweet! Why I keep saying today that everything really happens for a reason. Good or bad things will end up beautifully in God's favor.

That could happen in one year if Dallas eats donuts a lot.

That is true since I am sure that the family will be making a lot of visits to that store for the next year.

It is perhaps a shame that the baby won't get to eat any of the donuts, but I am sure the happy couple will enjoy this treat.

That is so thoughful of Krispy Kreme. I have heard or babies born during air travel and those babies were entitled of free air travel domestic and international a few decades ago. When the airlines got smarter, they would put a rule to ensure that those possibilities are cut down. But then , we should also thank the medical team and the father to be gutsy enough , travesing through these challenges. Good to see both mother and baby doing fine. Great to read such wonderful news . Thanks for sharing with all of us!
