Project Modification.

As some of you know, my daughter has a big project in physics. Actually, it is a simple electrical circuit which is really easy to do. What is difficult is that they have to put a structure to light up. And it's not a simple structure but a structure with a WOW factor because creativity gets 40%.
Two weeks after, their earth science teacher said that he will incorporate his project with the physics so the project should show landslide or soil erosion.
What???
So now we have to modify it so we can have some areas that will soil erosion. One thing good is we are just starting the base. But some of my daughter's classmates are done with theirs.

That sounds very complicated. I remember doing an electric circuit at school. A very simple one.

I think so too but there is nothing we can do right now and in 3 months times, my daughter will graduate so that is what we are focusing on

@rakski They do it on purpose! If it's too complicated I can't understand it!

I have not followed. Where is the project going to be completed at home or at school? Or is it just digital?

@allknowing they will submit the project, they will just complete it at home and bring the finished product at school

At home. It's a physical project in physics. To make an electric circuit. It is actually simple but the teacher said there should be a structure to be lighted. The structure and circuit has have the same bearing.
Two weeks late another subject teacher announced he will integrate his project with physics subject so the structure to be made should be with landslide or soil erosion

While building the soil/grassy area, place some small wooden slats holding the soil/grass that can be removed so the soil/grass slides down. You can do something similar with the wooden structure. Don't glue all the boards at the base so some will tumble when the soil/grass slides down. Leave some of the circuit not attached to the structure so they don't hold that part of the structure together when it slides apart.
Her classmates could add more soil/grass on top of what they already have and put pegs in to hold it in place until it needs to "erode", too. (If your daughter wants a better grade than her friends, then she shouldn't tell them how to modify their project.

@rakski You're always welcome.
I hope my suggestions aren't too difficult to add to what you were already planning.
Does your daughter have an evil mind, too?

When I was reading this I thought that it sounded very complicated but the comment by @DaddyEvil makes sense.
I wouldn't even know where to begin if I had to help my daughter do a project like that.

I think that teacher wants to make an exhibit, the last time we made an erosion was for the exhibit not for a project. God bless the works of your hands.

That sounds like a complex project. I'm listening to a book that deals with physics. I never took it, but it's a good book so far.

Aiming for 100% creativity, I see.
You've been working very hard so I'm quite confident you'll get there.
