I Want to Explain My Political Stand on Things

Yes, I dislike the Putz and What He Stands For....
Several people I have run into online lately have told me I am paranoid or that I have a real bias against Trump. I agree. I am against the man and what he stands for. I have never liked him and like him even less now. If you want to call that 'biased' then, yes, that's me. I try to like any human and just dislike the behavior. But, with Trump, he is just so inhumane.
Is it unfair to want to do away with suffering? To dislike someone who has no compassion? To find a real problem with a man who cares more about his own finances than he does about the country? He is a president not on some television show. Is it wrong to have a clear and definite opinion against one who has no problem with white supremacists? Someone who is a malignant narcissist and is in such a position of power? I don't oppose a person being against my views. Everyone has a right to their own beliefs and such. But it is the extremism and the lack of empathy or compassion that makes me mad. Just don't take innocents out and beat them to near death because the 'Rights'* don't like them. String them up and kill them because the 'Rights'* don't agree with how they live, who they love or the color of their skin. Was it right what the Nazis did to the Jewish people? That is pretty much what they are opening up here with Guantanamo Bay and coming into a person's work and 'detaining' them. Pretty much like what the Nazis did. If I am biased against a man who would do that, then you bet I am. Paranoid? I am fearful that it will get mighty extreme before things get back to any normalcy I can live comfortably with. Yes.
All this comes down to is that these people who are white supremacists and radicals is that they are AFRAID and they are IGNORANT. They don't understand the culture of Hispanics, Black Americans, and the like so they fear them and the fear turns to hate. Hatred is weak. Ignorance is stupid because if these people would just take the time they would learn these folks aren't that bad. I agree that the cartels need to be done away with. However, not all immigrants and aliens are drug traffickers and members of cartels. And why brutalize those who aren't white? Why be mean and heartless? Love and Peace is where I am at.
Let's get Trump out of office and someone in office who has the skills to work for the people and this country. Someone who won't brutalize and make money for his rich friends and actually do the work a president is supposed to do. Okay? That is all I want to see happen. For the next four years, I may spout and go on about Trump and his cronies but I need this platform to rant on or I will go stark raving mad.
* 'Rights' are what I call Republicans, Trump followers, GOPs, MAGAs, white supremacists, etc.
The picture is from my collection.

You’re not paranoid. I’m a registered Republican. I loved the Reagan years (probably to your dismay, I’m sorry). Therein lies the problem: Reagan was a conservative who had the interests of the country at heart. What we have now is NOT conservativism, it’s fascism. Reagan never cried about renaming the Gulf of Mexico because he was too busy with REAL issues (like the Cold War: “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!”). He didn’t attack our allies with tariffs (that instantly backfired this time); to the contrary, he said, “Our peaceful trading partners are not our enemies; they are our allies.” He didn’t run around begging to have his face put on Mount Rushmore because he was busy with economic recovery from inflation that went back to the last Republican president before him (Ford, who inherited problems from Nixon). Reagan had the biggest landslide — a real landslide — in history, 525 - 10. That makes tiny minds even tinier when they realize they’re never going to be as good as a pimple on Reagan’s butt would have been. Reagan knew how to govern. I’m not sure #47 knows how to spell “govern.”

Nixon and Trump are much alike. I am tired of people telling me things like "whatever it takes" or "you're just paranoid". The gal I was talking to the other night called the LGBTQ community "a bunch of loons". They are not. They very kind and sensitive folk who just want to be happy.
I am seriously thinking of not being a Democrat any longer. They don't seem to have much back bone right now. We'll see.

@celticeagle — I have to say that I’m VERY upset over everyone in elected office who’s standing by and letting an unelected person (the real president [Musk]) raid the Treasury Department. He doesn’t have that authority. Where are the people asking for injunctions from judges over it?!? (That alone makes ME “paranoid.” Why isn’t the “other party” complaining loudly and legally about this????)

Yes, Trump is President, but he isn't acting alone. Some of what he does or has to say, doesn't mean he's going to get it. He's tried to do some things before, and was unccessful. But, I do agree with the all-or-nothing approach. The catch and release stradgety was introduced before Trump, and has been brought back. How we treat illigals is wrong. In this country, they're treated better than our own people reguardless of race and skin color. Its not new. It's been happening under your nose all along. And, you now notice because a man you personally don't like is in office?

I never payed any attention to politics until Trump came on the scene. Li k e I have said many times before: I have been watching him for years. I didn't like him before but when he got into politics and the things he was saying -- you bet I started paying attention. You act like it's just another day at t h e office. It's not! It's fascism! Aren't you taking any of this seriously? He's firing or getting people in higher places to quit so he can take over. Sure politicians have been doing underhanded things for years. This is much, much worse. You don't act like you care or understand the full idea of what is going on. It is illegal and unconstitutional!
Elon Musk just walked into the Treasury and tried to take it over. Why in the world would I lik e a man who let our White House be run like this? This is our government, not Romper Room.

@sallypup .......Yeah, some could be AI. What can we believe nowadays? When the reporter guys I trust on YT go on about it I believe them. Also, this is how 'they' divide people and get them to question things. It's all just misinformation. The witch hunt. Etc.

I disliked him the first I saw him, decades ago. He is a spoiled brat, a narcissist ignorant exploiter who uses people and needs to get his own way. He knows nothing about anything, and has surrounded himself with creatures very much like him who are destroying whatever America is supposed to be.
You are not paranoid, nor wrong, nor biased. You are seeing reality.

You are not the least bit paranoid. Two people I will not name, but you know who they are, will take over this country if they haven't already done so.
