Should I or shouldn't I?

Currently it's -1°C or 30°F with a 40% chance of something (rain?sleet?snow?) coming down.
I have a dental appt at 1pm... the last for 6 months... but am debating whether to reschedule it due to this bout of diverticulitis. I'm still in pain even though I've been mostly resting (went out yesterday to fill a 'script for amoxicillin). I don't want to have a pain spasm and jerk just when the dentist is injecting the freezing... Hey! It's possible.

Honestly? I'd prefer you reschedule your appointment. I worry more that you might slip and fall than I do that you'll jerk as the dentist is having fun with a needle.

I had to cancel... everything is all iced up and a blast of snowflakes attacked me as soon as I stepped onto the city sidewalk.

My suggestion would have been to reschedule. I do see that you cancelled. Besides the weather the fact that you are in pain would have made the dental work more uncomfortable. No need to put yourself through that. Go when the weather is better and you are in better health.
