I woke up this morning to the news that the US Postal Service was going to stop accepting packages from China and Hong Kong. There was no reason given for that decision but it was thought that it was connected to the new China tariffs and an increased threshold for the value of items that could be shipped here before they had to be inspected and the charges collected.
I texted the link to the article to my neighbor (Whiskey's owner) and her immediate response was "so no Temu?"
She is constantly ordering stuff from there.
Well just hours later the USPS announced that it was reversing its decision and would process packages from China and Hong Kong. Apparently Americans were up in arms about potentially being cut off from Temu and Shein. The like 10 minute brouhaha didn't worry me. I don't use those sites.

Yes Americans are addicted to Temu and TikTok. Not me thanks. But I don't mind having a look every now and again.

Read that on an online news site late last night. I actually considered posting it as well, but then I thought, no, he will rescend it tomorrow morning. And…here we are.
