The pool here may not open this summer

A woman I know from meeting her at the pool a couple of years ago just texted me saying that the woman in the management office said that the pool here may not open this summer because it needs so many repairs.
Maintenance has been very busy renovating and upgrading apartments so they can be rented out at much higher prices. The last time I checked the website the starting price was like $700 more than I currently pay. That is also why the broken tiles by the door won't get replaced for like 2 months--they are busy.
They have plenty of money to fix the pool. It is one of the few good things about living in this complex. There is a solid group of residents who go there regularly even after they started making us pay to use it. It would be awful if they don't fix it and get it open.
My sister's new house has a pool but my awful mother lives there too so I won't be hanging out there this summer. Luckily my aunt and uncle also have a pool. They (and my other aunt and uncle) are all retired so I can just go hang with them. It would be a lot easier to just walk across the street though.

Well that stinks!
You could also go to the lovely Jersey shore and swim. ![](/Content/images/emotes/whistle.gif)

I hope they'll do the pool where you live but it doesn't sound like it.

I would band with the other residents there who like to use the pool and ask them to either fix the pool, or you all demand a credit on your rent for the months the pool should be open. You are paying for a pool there, and should be able to use it.

Sorry to hear that. You will have to make other choices, How about talking it over with everyone and getting a large above-ground pool for all to share?

That's really bad news. Any good letting management know your feelings??
