A Kite

About an hour ago a kite suddenly fell just in front of our house. I rushed and found it was injured. Perhaps someone had hit it with a pellet fired with a catapult. My friend lifted it. We washed the wound with detol and put it at a safe place. After a few minutes it flapped its wings. We realized it wanted to fly again. My friend brought it out and released it in the air. We were happy to see it was able to fly. We kept watching it until it became invisible.

They washed a bird, a kite, with Dettol. (It's an antiseptic solution used in India.)

You and your friend did a great work. Most people don't bother about the birds and animals here.

@Shivram59 Yes, the dogs would have killed it.

It was friend who saved the wounded bird. He was sitting there and first saw the bird and rushed to it. If he had not seen the bird; street dogs would have killed it.

I'm glad the kite felt well enough to fly away after you helped it. I hope it survives.
