Hello Lotters and readers!! I am sharing to all of you my faborite snack / street food. In our native language it is called " kwek - kwek " and later did I know that some call it neon balls in english. It's quail eggs covered in orange batter and then deep fried.
I buy neon balls usually after marketing , as a snack before I prepare to cook lunch . It is best dipped in vinegar and with some spices on it.
It is a famous snack here in my country and people from all walks of life loves it.
Have you tried eating neon balls too? If you haven't I must say its a must try

First time hearing that they were called neon balls. However, when I was younger and had the time and money to buy some on the street, I did like eating that as a snack. However, as I've become older, my liking for them seems to be fading, and I'm now forced to refrain from eating them because of some issues with my cholesterol.

You don't see quail on the menu very often here. And quail eggs even less often.
