Going to look for a parking space

My world has rain but its not quite freezing. My car is parked in front of the house. I can and must quit yawning cause at 11 this morning there is going to be a meeting at the library. The library is about a mile from me. My car continues to function well enough. NO excuses, huh?
Who is having a meeting at 11? The Democrats. I live in a very red pocket. I think it is past time I give it up and go have a listen to the brave individuals who leave their safe and comfortable homes for this monthly meeting. Hubby got up and is having breakfast so he plans to for sure go with me.
I'm grateful for what I have. That includes my hubby. We've walked many trails and slogged through many scary swamps so this meeting should be a piece of dull cake.

As of late 11 is when I'm getting up and out of bed. I hate early birds.

@kaylachan I can't be like that with my fur kids though Beau Teak is never full so he thinks he is abused no matter when he gets fed.

@kaylachan My cats would have a huge tantrum if I got up and fed them at 11 instead of by 8. Plus I like to listen to the morning bird chatter.

I have been to many Democratic events here. I am not going now though as they want big bucks for a membership, and I know some in the group resent me because I haven't paid, but I always buy their raffle tickets, shirts and whatever else they have to offer.

@JudyEv I don't know. I have been honked at twice now- I was slowing down to go into parking lots both times. I happened to like a bumper sticker that had a yellow dog and the word Democrat on it so I put it on my car's back bumper. That was before America got nasty. Is that why folks beeped at me? The first time I thought the woman driver was going to run me off the road.

I have a functioning car so that's good enough for me. I do need to get a new one when this one breaks down though. I don't know if I will have the money when the time comes, but hopefully my car will last until I get another job.
