My Big Question

So Trump has been in office for about twenty days now. Remember all the things he promised us when he got into office:
* Lower grocery prices
* the war in Ukraine stopped.
* D.O.G.E. bring down the deficit.
* Big promises about tariffs being the answer to everything.
* Lied about not knowing anything about Project 2025
So what has Trump really done for us?
* He has set our allies against us or feeling very negative
* DEI programs eliminated and transgenders unable to play in sports
* Closed CDC and FDA
* Fired FBI or intimidated them to quit
* Stopped foreign aid and children's programs both in the U.S. and abroad.
The only thing he has done that I like is that he has put a stop to paper straws and is seeing that the plastic ones are made better.
Nearly 3 weeks in office. What do you think?

Has it only been 20 days?
He sure has spent surely every day spouting off about how awful we, his neighbours to the north, are.
And don't get me wrong, I feel sorry for the people in the US, as most of them, except for Elon, probably had no idea he was going to do what he has done.
And bringing back plastic straws.......how is that even a priority in 2025?

It is so embarrassing to hear him and he treats Canada and Mexico. He thinks he is King and do whatever he pleases.

@celticeagle He is a very sick man. I feel sorry for him. But the fact is, he is endangering the lives of many Americans, and potentially those abroad.

It's been about three weeks as you've stated, and he's working on his promises. He's targeting the areas in which he believes will achive the promised goals, but nothing is going to be an overnight fix. It might be several months if we see a decress in grocery prices, but if anything over the next four years, I see prices to continue to eb and flow as they always have due to supply and demnand.

Yes, the prices of groceries coming down take time. He lied when he said it would be immediate. Supply and demand is the realistic way of looking at it. What about the FBI being penalized for doing their jobs? And the DEI programs. That all really erks me.

@celticeagle It's funny that Slow Joe may go down as one of the greatest presidents in American history. He saved us from Trump, but struggled to speak clearly, though what he said was spot on. Here's a fun fact: Did you know that Moses, who (it could just be "literature," but its still a compelling story) led the Jewish people out of Egypt, was a stutterer?

Yes, he has. I am so thankful that lawyers and authorities in many states are stepping up and suing him and Elon. I'm glad there are honest judges left too.

@celticeagle during his first term his stupidity cost the US a great deal... he was the laughing stock... think of his unawareness that China bought the soy beans American farmers grew...and how much $ it cost the US to cover the losses. That people again voted for him, well that says a lot

@TheHorse Trump doesn't understand how Americas power works abroad and why they need that power. Like people have said , China will sweep in to be the only super power now
