Ah yes it is that day of the year again. The Super Bowl. We used to have great parties with family and friends back in the day. I remember the year that there was a blackout. I remember the year that it was held here in New Jersey and it incredibly was an unseasonably warm day. I remember some of the half-time shows like Madonna, Black Eyed Peas, and of course Prince.
I don't have much personal interest in football but I do cheer for the teams that the people I love like--the Jets, the Eagles, and the Vikings. So obviously I will be cheering for the Eagles tonight. Honestly I think more people will be doing that rather than rooting for the Chiefs. There definitely is some Chiefs fatigue after 3 years in a row of them in the Super Bowl plus the whole Taylor Swift hype.
Kickoff is 6:30pm EST. I will probably make it to half-time before heading to bed. If my life depended on it I couldn't name a Kendrick Lamar song or pick him out of a lineup and I truly don't care what guest artists he brings--even if it does include Taylor Swift. (highly unlikely)
Will you be watching the Super Bowl tonight? If so who do you want to see win?

I’ve been a Chiefs fan for ages, so I’m the rare current watcher rooting for Kansas City. It’s also my BIL’s favorite team, and I like seeing him happy too. However, it will be easy for me to be happy for the Eagles if they win so it won’t bother me to see Saquon, Jalen or poor ‘ol Nick Sirianni celebrate. I mean that coach has been mocked for months, and all he does is win.

A Superb Owl??????
No, dear, pitchers and catchers reported today. (For the Cubs, they have an early series in Japan in March.)
I will be driving, eating, driving some more, unpacking, and hugging my neighbors (one’s home from physical rehab after breaking her hip; my next-door neighbors came over and recharged my doorbell camera [their son installed my security system] when it ran down), feeding the critters that haven’t been fed in two weeks, and taking a nap. Who has time for an owl, no matter how superb it is?

I won't be watching it. I have no interest in sports of any kind.

I will be working up till kick off delievering food cause most years I have made good money doing it. As for the Super Bowl, I gave up watching football many years ago and couldn't care less about it now. So, you can imagine I don't care who wins. I just hope all those that decide to party it up do it safely.
