How is it ok for America to takeover Gaza strip

That is a sort of land grabbing on large scale... Does Trump realize that this is the fastest way to create terrorists for America? After taking over their lands, will they just surrender? Never regroup to reclaim what is theirs? History is replete with lessons...and unlike the realities of the past, of which there is little or nor record, the net gives access to information...in this era. Just because Native Indians have not done anything like Palestinians does not mean they have no pain in their hearts. And who knows when which Palestinian will feel sufficiently angered to react.... Why must innocents pay price for the stupidity of the rich Trump and Musk? But ..this lack of foresight seems to be trending. Our Indian leaders are no different. Bulldozing is not the way to get territories....being fair helps everybody, including the present and future generations. The sad part is ... we the ordinary folks may not be agreeable. We in democracy may not be powerful enough to control the actions of the leaders. We in democracy may be minority with sane voices. Yet, when the price is extracted, when people are killed or violated, it is not the leaders, not the rich who supported such leaders, not the fanatics but we who have to suffer.... Here is why I think Palestinians have been short changed. In 2016, the (UN) Security Council adopted resolution 2334 (2016) in which it urged “the intensification and acceleration of international and regional diplomatic efforts and support aimed at achieving without delay a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in the Middle East on the basis of the relevant United Nations resolutions, the Madrid terms of reference, including the principle of land for peace, the Arab Peace Initiative and the Quartet Roadmap and an end to the Israeli occupation that began in 1967”. On 10 May 2024, the General Assembly adopted resolution ES-10/23 in which it “[d]etermines that the State of Palestine is qualified for membership in the United Nations in accordance with Article 4 of the Charter of the United Nations and should therefore be admitted to membership in the United Nations”. On 10 June 2024, the Security Council adopted resolution 2735 (2024), whereby it reiterated “its unwavering commitment to the vision of the two-State solution where two democratic States, Israel and Palestine, live side by side in peace within secure and recognized borders, consistent with international law and relevant UN resolutions, and in this regard stresse[d] the importance of unifying the Gaza Strip with the West Bank under the Palestinian Authority”. I'd say, International Court of Justice and the UN Security council has more authentic data before it, to be favoring Palestinians. I'd say any injustice begets injustice ...what is the point in crying afterwards, it is the karma of ancestors... So...learning to be fair and just is imperative...mine is a small voice....but hope somebody hears and stops Trump from building his Riviera...which incidentally will be guarded by the US military, and the US tax payers will pay the price... And I don't understand why the military should lose personnel or have them maimed or mentally upset, simply because some leader is overambitious....I don't...they have families...they have kids...its fine to use armed forces for defending territories belonging to us...it is not fine to use armed forces for extravaganza of the rich and powerful.

He’s a moron. American policies - ZERO. However, “let’s take over Greenland;” “let’s take over Canada;” “let’s take over Gaza.” Thought he was all about America first. All he’s doing is gutting the American systems…actually, the de facto president Musk is doing that.

There is so much literature on net and the decisions of International Court of Justice, which I happened to read, I felt, poor Palestinians. I am a Hindu. Devout Hindu. But I disliked folks who go hammer and tongs at Muslims in my country, and that is trending. You get to be in political good books, if you are anti Muslims. Being a Hindu, I should hate Palestinians, and be friends with Israelis. Because of the religious hatred that brews in my country. But I like to be right...religion is immaterial.

@vandana7 — I understand what you’re saying. This, however, is not about religion, either way. This is about a American guy who ran for American political office on the platform of AMERICA, and now he’s sticking his ugly orange nose in places it doesn’t belong.
