Today while going out for panini we noticed some new Free books dangling from our neighbour's gate. This is the 3rd time we got books from him/her. But I think she is a girl based on her book choices. I am quite excited to start reading them as the synopsis sounds very interesting. I hope I find time to read them.

What type of books are your favorites? I have, I think, eight big totes full of books in our garage. Our house is too small to store them inside and I don't know what to do with them... I mostly read science fiction or fantasy books. (I know you live too far away for me to ship my books to you but still... ) I switched to reading ebooks on the Kindle Cloud and have several thousand of them on there.

I am a romance kinda girl. But I do like science fiction too. You can sell them if you are not attached to them. There are apps to sell old books for. But I do not know how effective it is.

@flapiz I used to donate all my books to the public library here in our town but they stopped accepting book donations. I've never tried apps to sell books.

@Juliaacv Yes that is true although I kinda like keeping them. They look good on my shelf for aesthetic purposes.

That's nice she's giving away books. I can't remember the last new book that I bought. I always manage to pick up cheap or free ones at op shops or garage sales.

The op shop is a treasure trove of books for a good price.

It's nice she gave out free books instead of throwing them away. Enjoy the free books.

Indeed. I find people who throw perfectly good books away wasteful.

That’s such a nice surprise! It’s always exciting to discover new books, especially when they come from a mystery neighbor with good taste. Hopefully, you’ll find some time to dive into them soon.

Anything free really are good. Sometimes we also get free toys and fruits here. Sometimes humanity can be good. And generous.

That's so nice that they left the books for anyone to take and that you got them.

Hope you got some you like! I wonder who the giver is? There is writer in our village and she gets sent books to review so after that she puts them outside on her garden wall in a little 'house' she has built for them!
