Funny but not funny.
It's Trinidad, Colorado, closer to the 'border' like..anyway..these kids went there with a deposit, got a Glock pulled on them and robbed.
It's cheap apartments probably covered in cockroaches of the human kind also.

Oh yes. I lived in a ratty apartment with my ex-husband for five years. As if the marriage wasn't bad enough, add the apartment into the mix and it was a complete nightmare. A five year nightmare at that.

@RebeccasFarm Yes, abusive marriage on top of ratty apartment with violent neighbors. It was just violence through and through. Never going through that again.

! There are times when I've had to make a visit to sketchy/seedy places - nothing ever happened but you bet I stayed extra cautious

Just reading that it sounds pretty scary and definitely NOT somewhere I'd want to live.
I hope you find a place where you can relax and not have to endure all the things you've had to in the past places. I pray for you my friend
