What Color Should I Do?

My roots have really grown in since I haven't touched up my hair in a while. I think I last touched it up just before Thanksgiving.
I don't know that I really want to keep the color that I have. It is nice, but I do get bored of having the same color for too long.
I would like to go back to blonde, but I know that would be a lot of work and I may end up frying my hair. I think going back to a blonde though would be a lot easier to deal with. My real hair color is not blonde, but it is a light ginger/red color. It would not look as crazy to have blonde with those roots. Having the light roots with the dark color I have now just looks awful.
Just something I am trying to figure out. What do you think?

Depends on what you like, I don't color my hair anymore but my color journey went from blond which made me too pale. to black which made me look like Morticia of the Addams Family, and finally I settles on red shades and always made sure I had the brightest red shades so my hair would flame in the sun,

You would look good with a red color since Lucille Ball gained fame as a redhead.
