Monday in My Little Corner

Monday Monday........never my favorite day of the week. But here it is and soon there it will be.
It was a busy day at work today. But the day really flew by. At one point, I looked to see when I was scheduled to take my lunch, which was at 11:30, and then I looked at the clock on the lower corner of my monitor and it read 11:28. At that point it felt like I still had almost an hour's work to go, but was pleasantly surprised that it was lunch then.
We are preparing for another winter storm coming on Wednesday afternoon/evening. It is days like that that make me thankful that I work from home, that 17 barefoot step to the home office is nice. 
When I began my working career in the early '80's I never even thought that I could possibly end my working career some year right from home. But I'll take it if it is still around in 2027.
The local news featured an NFL player, Sidney Brown, who got his first superbowl ring yesterday. He has a twin brother who plays on another US team and was there to celebrate with his brother. It is so nice to hear of success stories like that.

Glad you have the opportunity to work from home. I miss the social aspects of working outside the home, but nothing else.

@Juliaacv I only talk to the mystery shop people via email not that it is a real "job." They are usually doing something "helpful" like reminding me of my assignment, like I ever forgot one..
. Lots of times if you have a question they seem to make themselves scarce

It feels like the calm before the storm that they are forecasting for tomorrow.

Thank you, they did downgrade it to a winter storm advisory, which means that we could be getting more freezing rain than snow.
The girls will be doing their usual on Friday, going to playgroup. I picked up a couple of things for them that Grandpa will bring over to them.
